William Guy Cox

William Guy Cox passed away peacefully at his home in Golden Valley, AZ on June 18, 2026. William was born on January 6, 1939, to the late Dorothy and Bill Cox.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Cox, his four children Mike, Bodie, Julie and John. Also 9 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

William served in the Marine Corp early in life followed by a lifetime of construction work. He built a successful drywall company that continues to live on through his sons and grandsons. When he wasn’t busy working, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and rebuilding old trucks. He was larger than life and loved dearly by all who are left behind.

Services will be held on June 26 from 12:00 to 2:00 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home followed by a reception at the family home.
