Golden Valley student places second in national art competition

MOHAVE COUNTY – K12 Online Schools just wrapped up their annual K12 National Art Competition. Students across the country in grades K–12 were invited to enter their creative masterpieces in the 2025 K12 Art Competition whether they were digital art, physical 2D and 3D creations, or photography. More than 6,000 entered and one fifth grade student from Arizona Virtual Academy won!

Winners were chosen across all grade levels in each category, with first place, second place, and People’s Choice awards celebrating their talent — and more than $15,000 in cash prizes awarded to this year’s incredible artists.

Golden Valley’s own Liliana was awarded Second Place for her Digital Artwork and her choice of $100 cash or an Amazon e-gift card.
