What that gentleman in Seligman wrote really hurt my soul, but he was wrong. My Bible teacher and I looked it up. Yes, Tripoli did write it but they were an evil empire that hated the new United States of America. What he failed to say was one word: asserting. Look that up!
Asserting the government of the U.S. is not founded on the Christian religion. If you read the Marine Hymn, part of it concerns Tripoli where the Marines took care of Tripoli, but good!
Let me give you a little history about the Church of England, which was an oppressive government. America broke away from England with the Revolutionary War so that we could have our religious freedom to worship as we choose, to be a free nation, under God. It’s in the Constitution. The Constitution was written on Biblical principles of right and wrong.
I know you Socialists don’t believe in the checks and balances of the Constitution. You believe in chaos! Your article was written to cause dissention in the ranks of Christian Republicans. Make out that we are fools to embrace democracy instead of a truly new oppressive system called Socialism Communism.
I suppose you believe in “Medicare for all”, the New Green Deal, free college, being paid to people who don’t want to work. Your new utopia will only cost you many trillions of dollars and it won’t work!
Now to address our embattled president. He isn’t perfect, no one is. Since you brought up Bill and Hillary, let’s talk about “uranium one” and the fact Bill got paid $500,000 for a speech he made in Soviet Russia, plus the Clinton Foundation is awash in Russian oil!
Our president is not perfect. He is not like Bill, Hillary, and Obama! He is not a politician. What he is, is a businessman. He runs or tires to run our country as a business and guess what, it works. Look at our booming economy, we even are getting small amounts of social security raises, which we never got with Obama.
Before our president did before he was president was wrong! But God did forgive him because he asked for forgiveness for his sins. Sure, some of his decisions, his tweets, I don’t agree with, but he’s not a politician, he is a businessman!
The alternative of a socialist communist style U.S. is to unbearable to consider!
You are like every socialist I’ve heard before. Throughout history people like Stalin, Hitler, Lenin, Trotsky, I could go on.
So I ask, tell me about the society you want to replace America and please be specific.
I want to talk about the Monroe Doctrine and how our western hemisphere has been involved by our enemies. The Soviets, Red China, and Iran. When did it happen thanks to the former administration in 2013 John Kerry under our former presidents said, “The era of the Monroe Doctrine is over.”
So now we have Soviet troops in Venezuela. Soviet nuclear aircraft in the Caribbean. Red China buying upland around the sovereign country of Panama and the canal, and building a bridge across the canal from their purchase of the land. If I’m not mistaken, that will effectively close the canal. Iran promoting terrorism in South America.
Doesn’t that give you a wonderful touchy feeling America! Makes me kind of wonder who’s side he was on!
Now that politically not correct president wants to renew the doctrine calling it The Trump Doctrine! If that passes, he will use a big stick to put it right again! Finally we’re not Casper milk toast, we’re America, at least for another year.
