Free fishing day for the youth

Area youth ages five through 15 are encouraged to come out to Dunton Fort Rock Ranch on Saturday, August 17 to participate in “Fishing for Smiles”, a free fishing day. The event will be held from 7 a.m. to noon. Pre-registration is required and youth must be accompanied by an adult. Bait is provided, and a limited number of fishing gear is available. Kids are encouraged to bring their own rod and reel if they have one. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Kids will be able to keep what they catch with a maximum of three fish per participant.
