MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Animal Shelter at 950 Buchanan St., is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and has beautiful cats, kittens, dogs and puppies available for adoption.

Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter received grants from Dr. Taylor Williams of HSMC, Ft. Mohave Walmart Kingman stores to enable them to subsidize adoption fees! All adult dogs over 40 pounds are $25; puppies over four months $75; and cats over one year are $50. Now is the perfect time to bring home your new forever friend.
All animals are spayed or neutered; current on vaccines and microchipped. Each come with a free wellness check with a local veterinarian and a coupon book from PetSmart with huge savings on everything you will need for your pet.
In addition to the shelter operating hours they will be at PetSmart in Bullhead City and Kingman every Saturday from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. with many puppies and dogs. Cats and kittens are available at PetSmart during operating hours.
