Fire destroys Kingman home, no one injured

KINGMAN – No one was injured when fire occurred in a central Kingman neighborhood at about 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 16. The Kingman Fire Department said the fire destroyed a home at the corner of Irving Street and Coronado Avenue and a travel trailer on the back of the property.

Assistant Fire Chief Tom Flanagan said preliminary investigation is focused on the travel trailer as the likely point of origin. He said a home on an adjacent property sustained some exterior heat related damage.

The official cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
