The Arizona Department of Transportation advises area drivers to plan for lane restrictions and travel delays on a 2-mile segment of US 93 north of Wickenburg.
Motorists should allow extra travel time while the following daytime restrictions are in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 and Thursday, Dec. 14:
- US 93 will be Intermittently narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Date Creek Bridge and Date Creek Ranch Road (mileposts 174 to 176).
- Flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone.
- A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
The restrictions are needed so crews can make pavement repairs to the roadway.
This work is one of three segments of pavement repairs on US 93 in Mohave and Yavapai counties. The remaining two areas will be paved in the spring. For more information about this project, visit the project webpage.
