Eight new virus cases, bringing total to 96 for county

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 26, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified late this afternoon eight new COVID-19 positive cases, all in the Kingman service area. The county total is now 96, including 4 deaths. Today (04/26/20) MCDPH-Nursing was notified of seven COVID-19 positive cases in the Kingman service area and one in the Lake Havasu City service area.

The Lake Havasu City case is in the 65+ range, is hospitalized, and is epidemiologically linked to another case.  Four of the Kingman cases are hospitalized with one in the 45-54 age and an investigation is in process and yet to be determined if epi-linked or travel related. The other three hospitalized cases in the Kingman area are in the 65+ age range with two of them are epi-linked to another confirmed case. The last hospitalized Kingman case is 65+ and an investigation is in process and yet to be determined if epi-linked or travel related.

The final three cases are in isolation and recovering at home. All three are epi-linked to another confirmed case.  Each of those three are in a different age range –one each of 20-44, 45-54, and 65+.

There are now 27 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including three deaths, 59 in Kingman, with one death and 10 in Bullhead City.
