E3 Academy to host 2-day classes for future nonpartisans

LAKE HAVASU CITY — If you’re ready to jumpstart your nonpartisan journey, E3 Academy is well prepared in developing future leaders. The E3 Academy is a nonpartisan organization devoid of designations, bias, and affiliations.

Everyone from future campaign staff and advisors, advocates and organizers, community leaders, and first-time candidates, are strongly encouraged to attend. Guided by Mayor Cal Sheehy and council members Cameron Moses and Jeni Coke, the keynote speakers will cover six topics for attendees to discover.

The Leadership development subject will encourage outlooks, adaptabilities, and temperaments, required for the role. The policy and platform portion of the event will address fundamental concerns along with creating captivating programs.

Strategic openness, correspondence methods, and presentations, will cover the communications area of the discussion.  Guests will also be educated about fundraising and finance.  Specifically on how to oversee and promote monetary policies, honest philanthropy, and building community.

Participants will be engaged with the necessary steps needed for building a campaign. Everything from itineraries to collaborations, visitors will obtain roadmaps to public servant victory.

The city officials will share the understanding of government so that guests can grasp the system along with the commitments and requirements for federal, state, county, and local. The E3 Academy occasion will also welcome Vice President of Civic Leadership and Flinn-Brown Foundation, Dawn Wallace as the spotlight speaker.

Wallace is known throughout her career for inspiring emerging leaders with involvement and instruction.  This will be a two day gathering kicking off with topics like understanding government, communicating with impact, leading with purpose and plenty more.  The day will end with networking and a cocktail reception.

Day two will begin early in the morning which will include a breakfast. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about campaign building, a shared story about community focused services, federal perspectives, among other matters. Lunch will also be provided followed by a city and county clerk forum, elected leaders forum, and the role of political parties.

The first day of the E3 Academy Engage, Empower, and Elect gathering will be on Thursday September 11 from 1pm to 5pm.  Friday September 12th’s meeting will take place from 8am to 2:15pm.

Both events will occur at Nomadic coworking space located at 2119 McCulloch Blvd North in Lake Havasu City.
