BULLHEAD CITY – Next of kin has been notified and Bullhead City police have released the name of the local man who was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a vehicle. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Michal Vasconcellos, 60, was dead at the scene of the Nov. 18 traffic accident on highway 95 at Corwin Rd.

Fromelt said Vasconcellos was idle at the northbound stop light when he was rear-ended by a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse and pushed into a Ford F0-150 pickup truck that was also stopped at the light. She said alcohol was not a factor in the accident investigation and that charging decisions will be the province of the Mohave County attorney’s office.
