MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man faces prosecution after a local law enforcement agency was provided information by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said it began investigating in early Sept. when notified of a personal email address possessing child sexual abuse material.
MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said follow-up investigation led detectives to visit Aaron Perlin at his place of employment in Lake Havasu City in late Nov. She said Perlin, 42, Mohave Valley, was arrested for three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
“Detectives served several search warrants on locations associated with Perlin, with items of evidentiary value seized,” Mortensen said. “This investigation is ongoing.”
