Laura Lee Rue, of Golden Valley, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. She was 79. Ms. Rue was born Jan. 16, 1942 in Hendrick, Minn. The family contact is her cousin James Clinton Wright. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
Sergio E. Guzman, of Kingman, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. He was 54. Mr. Guzman was born May 12, 1967 in Yuma, Ariz. Visitation is Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 8 and 9 from 5 to 7 p.m at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home in Kingman, with a viewing Sept. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. The family contact is his wife Maritza Guzman. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

Ann was born in 1938 in the small upstate town of New York, called Newburgh, near West Point on the Hudson River. Her mother—one of ten children in the Cavanaugh family—had little interest in raising the family. Her father went to war and when he returned, he soon deserted them. Ann was the oldest so the matter of her brother and sister’s upbringing was left to her. Ann was also the smartest and she could help both her siblings with their schoolwork.
