On Friday August 28, 2020 Sonny passed away at the age of 81. A longtime resident of Indian River, Mich., Sonny raised her four children with her first husband John Hypio. Her children were her greatest source of pride. She eventually married Ronald Bullard. Sonny was very involved in the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary. She held the post of secretary for 10 years and worked tirelessly on many fundraisers and Eagle’s events. She was very passionate about the work that the Women’s Auxiliary did for the community. Genuine faith never comes by coercion, force, manipulation, or some type of trickery. The scripture is clear that unless God acts upon the heart of a person, that person will remain eternally lost in their sin. Jesus Christ did not force people to follow Him, nor did He take revenge because they rejected to follow. Born October 25th 1938 in Kingman, Ariz., and passed quietly away at her home August 16, 2020. Granny is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and oldest son, John. Dorothy leaves behind a legacy in her children Frank (Nora), Clay (Michelle) and Lori with 13 Grandchildren and 32 (and counting) Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and boat loads of friends and fishermen. Her love and pride of, and for, Kingman and Mohave County was only surpassed by her love of serving others.
