Bill Ray (Billy) Smith, of Golden Valley, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. He was 85. Mr. Smith was born July 9, 1934 in Woodlawn, Kansas. Rita J. Burchfield, 63, of Golden Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at KRMC Joan and Diana Hospice Home. Rita was born in Bloomington, Ind., on March 10, 1956 to Raymond E. and Freeda M. (Frye) Terrell. She graduated from Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy until her honorable discharge in 1976. She married Terry L. Burchfield on July 4, 1999.
