Eleanor Velderrain, of Kingman, died Monday, December 28, 2020. She was 75. Mrs. Velderrain was born Oct. 4, 1945 in Germany. A service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Kingman. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Mohave County has lost an admired pioneer family member. Dan Cofer Bishop, 84, passed away on December 16 at home in Kingman, Arizona. Dan was born in Kingman to Jennielee and Dan McDonald, August 21, 1936. Dan was preceded in death by his young father due to a mining accident but he was lucky to have a second father in his life, Judd Bishop. The family loved and worked on the Windmill Ranch near Wickiup where Dan grew into the role of rancher/cowboy. Yvonne Collins died December 6, 2020 at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Born to Emile and Marie Rose Labonte on May 18, 1930 in Claremont, NH, she was preceded in death by her parents, younger sister Pauline and her husband of 52 years William “Slim” Collins; her granddaughter Julie and great-grandson Colton Tyler. Slim and Yvonne relocated to Winslow, Ariz., in 1964 with their two sons, where they both worked for the Santa Fe Railroad.
