MOHAVE COUNTY – Renters and landlords in Mohave County may apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program using the program portal. Renters and landlords can receive up to $3.500 per month in rent and utility assistance. Applications will be accepted through the program’s expiration on Dec. 31, or until funding is exhausted. Judicial appointment imminent following Taylor retirement

KINGMAN – A new Cerbat Justice of the Peace could be appointed next Monday, five days after the retirement of the Honorable John Taylor. A screening panel that reviewed nine applications and conducted interviews with four finalists has recommended that either of two candidates be appointed. They include retired Mohave County Sheriff’s sergeant Rob McEuen and deputy Mohave County attorney David Wayt.
