LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, for the Christmas holiday and Friday, Dec. 31 for the New Year’s Day holiday. Aquatic Center and Havasu Mobility services are unavailable. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Monday, Dec. 27 following the Christmas holiday and Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 following the New Year’s Day holiday. Please Note: Trash and recycling services are not impacted.

KINGMAN – City offices will be open regular hours, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. the week of Dec. 20 and 27. However, there will be no residential or commercial trash service Friday, Dec. 24; Thursday and Friday customers should put their cans out one day early. Prostitution and money laundering suspected KINGMAN – A citizen complaint sparked a Kingman Police Department (KPD) investigation of suspected prostitution and money laundering activity related to alleged illegal massage parlor enterprises operating in Kingman. Officers seized cash, notes and ledgers and other possible evidence during Dec. 7 searches of five businesses and a home. A worried wife tipped off police in a July 16 letter. “The complainant stated that her husband has been frequenting Healthy Spa and he admitted to having sex with the owner identified as MIMI and other girls employed there,” the letter stated, according to court records….

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of non-specific threats to schools nationwide. Several vague and anonymous social media posts have encouraged acts of violence to occur at schools across the country today, December 17. While the origin of the threats remains unknown, the Sheriff’s Office takes this information very seriously. We have not been made aware of any threats to any schools in Mohave County.
