MOHAVE COUNTY – The Special Judicial Officer Selection Commission has invited 4 of the 7 applicants to interview for Mohave County Court Commissioner. The bench seat was vacated last month when Megan McCoy was promoted to Superior Court Judge in place of the Honorable Charles Gurtler who retired June 1. MOHAVE COUNTY – A controversial proposal to split off the northern portion of the Northern Arizona Fire District (NAFD) to create a new district was debated at length during Monday’s Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting in Kingman. 30 citizens spent 90 minutes commenting during a public hearing that reflected deep division. MOHAVE COUNTY – Bashas’ family of stores is holding pop-up hiring events across the state of Arizona this Saturday Sept. 18 at every one of its 114 grocery stores and distribution centers.
