October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program and the Foster Care Review Board of Arizona (FCRB) are encouraging the community to act now and help raise awareness about its impact on individuals, communities, and children and families. The effects of domestic violence are far-reaching and not just for the partners involved but also for the children who may witness it. Father gets two years for dumping son’s body

KINGMAN – Another defendant has been sentenced in a bizarre case in which an estranged Kingman couple admitted disposing the body of their teenage son before reporting him missing to law enforcement authorities early this year. Charges are still pending against Amber Leah-Valentine, 41, but Jon Imes, 42, appeared for sentencing Oct. 13 after pleading guilty to abandonment of a dead body.
