KINGMAN – An eight-year prison term has been imposed for a Kingman man who faces the possibility of additional prosecution in a child pornography case. James Lummel, 63, was sentenced March 26 by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Lee Jantzen.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – A California man who transported drugs to sell in Lake Havasu City was sentenced to the Arizona Department of Corrections on his 53rd birthday.
KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum’s meeting on Wednesday, April 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC). Guest speakers will be Rodney Glassman, candidate for AZ Attorney General; Walter “Les” Presmyk, candidate for AZ Mine Inspector; and Carson Carpenter, CEO of Off the Record USA.
KINGMAN – A Kingman man will serve lifetime probation following 12 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections for repetitive sex offenses involving a minor. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Lee Jantzen sentenced Gary Walters, 55, on March 26.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) reports a homicide case has evolved from what was initially suspected as a vehicle-pedestrian hit-and-run traffic fatality. The matter was reported at 3:25 a.m. on Feb. 19 at Highway 95 and Hancock Road.
