KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman will be working to update lane striping throughout the community starting on Monday, February 26th. There will be multiple crews working from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. to complete this project. During this time there will be travel delays due to intermittent lane restrictions. The schedule is subject to change, pending weather conditions. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Havasu Art Trail will be making their third comeback this weekend which will give the community an opportunity to discover a variety of artists in Lake Havasu. Husband and wife team Lance and Brenda Gibbs launched this art trail as a way to support local artists.  In that first year, the participation was strong as they managed to showcase 50 artists at 21  locations. The Gibbs were previously members of the art guild that used to host studio tours.  When that organization discontinued these events, the Gibbs came up with this unique way for several artists to have…

LAKE HAVASU CITY – When a mobile device dies or loses its signal, amateur radios will still work, which could come in handy for communication alternatives. The London Bridge Amateur Radio Association (LBARA) was formed in 1981.  Also known as ham radio, they are a nonprofit corporation that is actively involved with the community’s projects. The group provides radio communication for London Bridge days parades, walk-a-thons, MS charity bike rides, and much more.   They maintain mobile go boxes along with three communication repeaters needed for the Lake Havasu region.
