Farney takes plea in sex offense case

KINGMAN – A local judge has broad discretion at an upcoming sentencing hearing for a Kingman man arrested early this year for a sex offense involving a minor. Police reports indicate 69-year-old Russel Farney performed a sex act on a nine-year-old boy in Feb. at his home in the 2900 block of Snavely Ave.
Farney pleaded guilty to a charge reduced to attempted sexual conduct with a minor. Terms of the agreement entered may allow the Court to impose as little as probation and as much as 15 years in prison.

Asphalt Sealing Program Scheduled to Begin

LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to preserve our roadways, Lake Havasu City is sealing various streets in the downtown/uptown area as well as the recently completed Island Walking Path and parking lots.
