KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is sponsoring fireworks at 9:15 p.m. for an Independence Day celebration taking place at the Mohave County Fairgrounds, July 4. Fireworks can also be seen from Firefighter Memorial Park, Centennial Park, and other places around the city.
Consumer fireworks are not permissible within the Kingman city limits, per Kingman City Code 7-302(A).
MOHAVE COUNTY – Thousands of Mohave County residents can be expected to take advantage of the early voting window that opens next Wednesday, July 3. The majority of the county’s registered voters have been casting ballots early for years, as was evident in the local 2020 primary election.
“There were 41,855 (people) who voted. 32,557 of those were voters that voted early,” said Mohave County Recorder Lydia Durst.
KINGMAN, Ariz. – Allo Communications will be conducting aerial work on Stockton Hill Road, at the intersection of Stockton Hill Road and Beverly Avenue. This work will begin on Friday, June 28th at 3:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28th. During the work hours, there may be intermittent closures on Stockton Hill Road to allow the crews to perform their work. The City encourages the public to be aware of construction workers in the area and to follow directions from flaggers that will be on site in order to provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – You know that summertime is in full swing when you can witness the beautiful fireworks display over the Lake in Havasu. The Go Lake Havasu Visiting Center will be once more providing the annual fireworks display for the community to see. There are a few spots in town that can offer the best views.
