Last week, the organization hosted a meet and greet so that the community can learn more about how animals can play a key role with one’s emotional recovery.
The Healing Meadows Meet and Greet took place on Thursday, August 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Grapes and Grains wine bar.
KINGMAN – The Mohave County Attorney’s Office (MCAO) has initially declined prosecution in a recent shooting death outside a well-known bar in downtown Kingman.
BULLHEAD CITY – Rodney Head and Robin Holmes patrolled Bullhead City for the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) long before the Colorado River community incorporated 40 years ago in late Aug., 1984.
Holmes had a harsh introduction to the desert after moving from coastal California to work the Bullhead City district for the MCSO in 1976.
“It was so desolate and the wind was like 400 miles an hour and the dust flying everywhere,” Holmes recalled.

Sheriff’s Office personnel responding at 12:43 a.m. located the victim dead at the scene inside his home in the 3800 block of Diabase Drive.
