Plans have been submitted and a permit is requested to build a Perkins Restaurant and Bakery behind the Safeway Shopping Center in Kingman. The Lake Havasu City-based Selberg and Associates architectural firm turned in plans to the city on April 19. A 5,258 sq. ft. restaurant that will seat up to 257 people is proposed on a lot between the shopping center and Interstate 40 Stockton Hill Road exit. A Kingman man admits wearing body armor while committing armed robberies, kidnappings and assaults during business invasions last year. An assortment of 47 charges are dismissed in the plea agreement entered Monday that aims to resolve ten indicted cases. An undercover sting operation targeting use of the internet to lure minors for sexual exploitation has resulted in nine arrests, seven of them involving Mohave County residents.
