Go Lake Havasu staff becomes Certified Autism Travel Professionals

All seven full-time employees of Go Lake Havasu, which provides destination marketing to Lake Havasu City, have earned their certification as Autism Travel Professionals. The certification process involved a four-hour online training session and exam created by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).

Those recently credentialed as Certified Autism Travel Professionals (CATP) are Terence Concannon, president and CEO, and the Go Lake Havasu staff: Jason Castellucci, Jan Kassies, Jackie Leatherman, Coleen Pruyn, Pam Swenson, and Tara Watkins.

“My employees and I will be creating a quiet space in our Visitors Center adjacent to the London Bridge, and I’ll work with the city to locate and designate areas and parks where people with autism and their caregivers can find solace during challenging times,” Concannon said.
