KINGMAN – Kingman Mohave Lions Club and Mohave Eye Clinic are partnering together to bring an adult vision clinic to Kingman residents on Friday, September 6, for those who have need of financial assistance for having an eye exam and glasses, if appropriate. A $10 donation will be requested allow participants to receive an eye exam and eyeglasses, with some restrictions applying. KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) meeting on Wednesday evening, September 11, at 5:30 p.m., with Kingman Unified School District (KUSD) Superintendent Gretchen Dorner, KUSD Board Members Bruce Ricca and Gary Waters. The three will advocate for the school bond, all of whom will be speaking and answering questions regarding the not-to-exceed $35 million bond upcoming on November 5 election. -New closure in place- KINGMAN – The intersection of Oak Street will be open by 5 p.m., Friday, August 30. The closure will then shift one block north, where Oak St. to Spring St. will be closed. This closure should last 14 days, barring any weather delays. Detours will be in place for street closures. A project to replace water lines on Third Street, from the Beale St. Alley to Pine St. will result in an overall, water-delivery benefit to customers. The total cost for the project is $104,000.
