Paul Pitts, a retired fire chief, shown with club president Karen Brown, addressed Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club at its August 23 meeting. Pitts, who has worked in emergency service his entire career, reviewed All Hazard Emergency Service formed after anthrax attacks, which prepares health departments for major catastrophes or disasters. Also reviewed was Medical Resource Group, formed after 911, which has 900 units nationwide and can respond to any incident that affects public health.
