Golden Valley man charged with multiple felonies, misdemeanor charges
GOLDEN VALLEY – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies arrested Larry Earl Edmondson, 23 of Golden Valley, for criminal damage, second degree escape, destruction to a jail, all felonies; marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession, both misdemeanors; and an active arrest warrant. On Wednesday, Sept. 4 at approximately 5 p.m., deputies responded to a business in the 4000 block of Highway 68 in reference to a criminal damage call. BLM partners with Boy Scouts on shoreline recreation site cleanup project
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has partnered with Boy Scouts of America on a shoreline cleanup project at Steamboat Cove, one of the most popular boat-in recreation sites on Lake Havasu. During the cleanup on September 22, access to the beach at Steamboat Cove will be temporarily restricted from 8 to 11 a.m. as Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts and Venturers work alongside BLM rangers to clean the beach and remove debris from the water. Light jail time for couple who found suitcase full of cash
KINGMAN – The lesser involved defendant in the discovery of a suitcase full of cash was placed on probation and ordered to spend 30 days in the Mohave County Jail Friday. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle also directed Chrystal Himmelright, 41, to perform 40 hours of community work service. The judge and involved attorneys agree that Himmelright was less culpable than her co-defendant boyfriend Jeremiah Peacey. MOHAVE COUNTY – Former Lake Havasu City Manager Charlie Cassens intends to run for Mohave County Supervisor in the 2020 elections cycle.
