KINGMAN – The 2020 Kingman Women Making History has been scheduled for Sunday March 1 at the Mohave Museum of History and Arts. This year’s theme is Valiant Women of the Vote. As in the past, the 36th annual award ceremony will honor outstanding women in the Kingman community. This event is held in conjunction with the National Women’s History Month which focuses on the rich and inspiring heritage of women’s contributions. MOHAVE COUNTY – An open house has been scheduled to help inform the owners of hundreds of property parcels that may be impacted by updated flood maps proposed for portions of South Mohave Valley and Fort Mojave Tribal lands. The January 30 open house that runs from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. will take place at River Valley High School, located at 2250 Laguna Road.
