Vandals cost city thousands in damages

KINGMAN – Since July 2019, Walleck Ranch Park located at 3851 North Willow Road, has experienced more than $4,000 in vandalism. The city is offering a reward of up to $500 for any information leading to the prosecution of these vandals. KINGMAN – Kingman resident Marcia M. Peterson donated substantial amount to the Mohave County Sheriff’s K-9 Foundation Nov. 4. During the presentation of the check that occurred at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Kingman, Peterson received a plaque from the K-9 Foundation for her most generous donation that will be used by the K-9 Foundation. BULLHEAD CITY  – Mohave Electric Cooperative members who purchased Operation Cool Shade trees are reminded to leave Saturday morning’s schedule open. Pickup is 7 a.m.-noon, Saturday, at the Justice Complex parking lot across from the Public Works Department on Alona’s Way. “It’s the only time to pick up the trees,” said Steve Bouman, energy management specialist at MEC.
