Fiery fatal crash on US 95

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal head-on collision between Lake Havasu City and the Bill Williams River bridge. Agency spokesman Bart Graves said the Saturday crash on State Route 95 was reported at 9:51 p.m., at milepost 162. MOHAVE COUNTY –  Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There is one new confirmed death in the Kingman service area, a 90+ person from a previously reported case. Of the 30 new cases, 15 are in the Bullhead City service area. CANE BEDS – An officer-involved shooting (OIS) is under investigation in the north Mohave County community of Cane Beds. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office received a report of shots fired at a residence at an unspecified time of day on Saturday. “Due to the nature of the call, the on-duty Mohave County deputy requested assistance from the Colorado City Marshal’s Office (CCMO),” said sheriff spokeswoman Anita Mortensen.
