Four adults from Georgia were arrested when authorities reportedly confiscated almost 90 pounds of methamphetamine during a Kingman traffic stop Thursday. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office (MCSO) reports the seizure was the result of an interdiction law enforcement operation involving the MAGNET drug task force and others. LAKE HAVASU CITY – On September 13, at approximately 3:15 a.m. Lake Havasu City Police (LHCPD) officers responded to the 2100 block of Injo Drive for a report of a shooting. Deputies located the victim, 22-year old Yucaipa, California resident, inside the residence with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. According to a LHCPD spokesperson, the shooter was identified as possibly being  21-year old Lake Havasu City resident Garrett Wilder. BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man’s request for probation and a chance to live drug free was rejected by another judge who instead sent him to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Jeffrey French, 53, conceded a history of drug related problems during a Sept. 10 sentencing hearing. “When I’m messed up, boy I’m really messed up your Honor,” French said. “I have motivation to get out of this hole.” Judge Billy Sipe noted the defendant’s extensive criminal history and said French had blown previous opportunities to get clean.
