Petrified Forest National Park is excited to announce that park visitors can, once again, have the unique experience of talking with a park paleontologist while they work on fossils in the demonstration fossil laboratory. The laboratory is currently viewable Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. Burglary suspect arrested

LAKE HAVASU CITY – An alleged serial burglar has been arrested in Lake Havasu City. Detective Chris Angus said police identified 41-year-old Michael Brothers as a suspect while investigating residential burglaries over the past month. Officers searching for Brothers reportedly spotted him in the parking lot of Birch Square at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken into custody without further incident during a brief foot pursuit in the 2100blockofMcCulloch Boulevard North. Brothers was initially booked into jail on four burglary charges, theft, a parole violation and an unrelated warrant. Police continue investigating the burglary spree. Dave Hawkins

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The President of the governing board of the Lake Havasu Unified School District is the target of a recall campaign. Investigation leads to drug arrests

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Over the past several months, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been conducting an investigation into two subjects selling illegal drugs in the Lake Havasu City area.
