Elderly couple suffer life-threatening injuries in head-on crash

KINGMAN – Authorities report two elderly Kingman residents suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning when the vehicle they were driving was struck head-on by another vehicle driven by a teenager who fell asleep at the wheel. The 69-year-old male driver and his 80-year-old female passenger were flown to a Las Vegas hospital following the crash just before 9:00 a.m. in the 1000 block of Stockton Hill Road. Deputy Kingman police chief Rusty Cooper said the 19-year-old, at-fault driver of the other vehicle was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment of a broken arm. Caitlyn Roseborough from Golden Valley qualified for the Fall 2019 Dean’s List at Belmont University.
