LAKE HAVASU CITY – Whether the lake should be closed or left open for recreation during the COVID-19 outbreak is a controversial subject in Lake Havasu City. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is making the job search, and finding the right candidate, a-whole-lot easier and free from the comfort of your own home. The college has been hosting monthly orientations, help sessions and testing to assist community members in mastering seven core skills that employers say they want employees to have, and that comprise Governor Doug Ducey’s Arizona Career Readiness Credential (ACRC). KINGMAN – The Kino Avenue Waterline Project updated closure is currently at the Morrow Avenue and North Glen Road intersection, and also Plaza Drive from Morrow Ave. to Khan Dr. will be closed until April 24, barring any weather delays. The contractor, Freiday Construction, is working with residents in the area regarding notification, but no water service delays or disruptions are scheduled to take place. This project is the continuation of a multi-phased project to improve water delivery to city water storage tanks that will allow our infrastructure run more efficiently, resulting in an overall benefit to our customers.
