Dominique Moore of Bullhead City was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Moore was initiated at Northern Arizona University. Moore is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is offering all of its summer classes online, including free college classes for qualifying high school students.  “Given current COVID-19 information from federal, state and local health experts, we believe this is the best move to make right now to help keep students, employees and our communities safe, while also helping as many students as possible stay on course with their college and career training goals,” said MCC President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein.  Those who are not MCC students can apply online for free at Mohave.edu.
