Teen sustained minor injury in BHC brush fire

BULLHEAD CITY – A female juvenile was treated for minor burn injuries to her feet suffered during a lunch hour brush blaze in Bullhead City Monday. Firefighters responded at 12:17 p.m. to the incident in the 1700 block of Toro Road.

Spokeswoman Lori Viles said personnel encountered fire spread from a vacant lot extending to multiple exposures on Williams Drive. She said two wooden fences and a carport area were protected from flames.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
