MOHAVE COUNTY – The citizens of Mohave County can expect the following road maintenance activity during the week of June 8: Arizona Strip: Road grading on Mt. Trumbull Loop. Kingman: Road grading on 1) Ferguson Ranch Rd. and 2) Avenida Mendez. Crews will be crack sealing 1) Calle Castano and 2) Cherum Rd.They will be mowing road shoulders, repairing the right-of-way and repairing pot holes in the Butlerarea. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Looking for some family fun this summer?  The Aquatic Center is offering open swim sessions Monday through Saturday, starting Monday, June 8th. Weekly session are available from 11:30a.m. to 2:00p.m., 2:30p.m. to 5:00p.m. and a  Saturday session from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. It is our goal to create an environment focused on protocols that protect everyone who enters the Aquatic Center for open swim. These modifications include, but are not limited to, additional cleaning in between open swim sessions, the closure of hot tubs and soaker pools, reduced seating and limiting the number of guests per session…

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to invite residents to help us raise the American and POW/MIA flags at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to Locomotive Park. The event will take place Monday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. Members of the Marine Corps League, the Young Marines, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and other local groups will be in attendance to help the city raise the flags. Last month, the Veteran’s Memorial Park was vandalized, and therefore the flagpole cable had to be replaced.
