Site Six to be closed for repairs

LAKE HAVASU CITY –The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled the closure of the Site Six launch ramp, fishing pier and surrounding area, on Thursday, September 17 from 6 a.m. until noon to perform underwater maintenance on the fishing pier. This date is subject to change due to weather or other factors. It will be necessary for residents to use alternate facilities. By performing routine preventive maintenance, we extend the life of the facility and prevent longer and more expensive closures and repairs.

Kingman Food Bank receives generous donation

KINGMAN — Motorcycles lined historic Route 66 in downtown Kingman for a charity bike wash, locals poured into The Kingman Farmers Market at Thunder-Rode with non-perishable food items, and, generous citizens stopped by Thunder-Rode Motorcycle Accessories with cash in hand, all to benefit the Kingman Food Bank on Saturday, September 12. COVID-19: Supervisors discuss lifting emergency declaration, mask mandate

MOHAVE COUNTY – Whether masks and an emergency declaration are necessary to protect against spread of COVID-19 were questions explored during Monday’s meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors.
