BULLHEAD CITY –  Bullhead City Fire Department recently conducted recruitment for a new fire marshal. Candidates applying for the position endured a four-part testing process. Barbie Skeen-Barrett was the top candidate and accepted the offer to fill the position of fire marshal. The position oversees the Community Risk Reduction Division which responsibilities include code enforcement, public education, fire investigations, and other aspects of community risk reduction. KINGMAN – KRMC’s WL Nugent Cancer Center has enrolled its first patients in clinical trials for cancer treatment. The WL Nugent Cancer Center is the only cancer treatment center in Mohave County to offer clinical trials. Our facility is partnered with the National Cancer Institute’s Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP), a national network dedicated to bringing cancer clinical trials to people in their own communities.
