LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to continue to provide safe and secure water service to the community, Lake Havasu City announces the scheduled repair of a water service line on Lake Havasu Ave. near Papago Dr. requiring the closure of the northbound lanes from S. Palo Verde Blvd. to Papago Dr. on Thursday October 15, 2020. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team is hosting a Stand Down event on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave. Many local veterans’ resource organizations are present to assist with legal aid, housing, resume guidance, employment opportunities and more. This community-based intervention program is designed to help the veterans who are homeless combat life on the streets.
