Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s October 16 meeting was Pat Farrell, President of Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council. Farrell addressed the group on the 25-unit transitional housing program for military veterans near completion at 315 Oak Street. He thanked the club for their $4,000 donation to acquire mailboxes for the facility.

MOHAVE COUNTY – The pandemic is taking a toll on the people of Mohave County. Sheriff Doug Schuster delivered that message emphatically during Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting in Kingman. “We are now seeing the end game of the lock downs, of the masks,” Schuster said. “Our suicide rates are extreme compared to where they were this time last year. Our domestic violence is extreme. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County voters are returning early ballots for the Nov. 3 general election quickly, and in large numbers. Recorder Kristi Blair said about 30,000 early ballots had been returned to the county by Friday, just nine days after about 82,000 were mailed to county residents who requested them. The more than 60,000 early ballots mailed out for the Aug. primary was a new record for early voting requests in Mohave County.
