BCSD board to fill vacancy

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City School District (BCSD) governing board is accepting applications to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of member Brandee Dubois, who stepped down this month.  She was elected as a write-in candidate to a full four-year term last November after having been previously appointed to fill an unexpired term. Some 3,000 MEC members without power during lightning storm

BULLHEAD CITY  – Severe lightning storms with high winds caused scattered outages in Mohave Electric Cooperative’s service territory early Tuesday morning. MEC crews responded to ten separate outages beginning at 1:15 a.m. An outage in MEC’s eastern service area resulted in 2,546 MEC members without power due to storm damage to a pole ground wire. The outage occurred at 6:43 a.m. Crews responded and made repairs restoring power was at 8:07 a.m. Another storm-related outage near Bullhead City Airport, resulted in 582 MEC members without power. 1,000th MEC Solar Residential Rebate Milestone

BULLHEAD CITY  – Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) marks the 1,000th solar residential installation milestone for the SunWatts Renewable Energy Rebate Program. This also marks the 100th solar residential installation for 2021. The 17,600-watt solar system was completed three months after the Bullhead City member submitted the SunWatts application and will produce an average of 26,000 kWh per year.
