BULLHEAD CITY  – On Tuesday, July 15, at 7:33 a.m., 542 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members experienced an outage due to a damaged connector after strong stormy winds. Crews responded by de-energizing the line to make repairs. KINGMAN – The slow crawl out of the pandemic has halted more than a few projects in the community and the last year’s social distancing has people ready to get out and begin to mingle. MOHAVE COUNTY – District 2 Mohave County supervisor Hildy Angius has earned board approval to use coronavirus pandemic relief funds to help addicts recover and rehabilitate in Bullhead City. The county is receiving about $41.5million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, and the board decided in April that each supervisor would take a lead role in determining how to spend a little more than $8million in each of the five county districts. “It is not a secret that my passion is recovery for addicts and alcoholics and all who struggle with addiction, particularly women,” Angius said.
