Laughlin Bullhead Airshow Returns in 2024  

BULLHEAD CITY _ The Mohave County Airport Authority (MCAA), the City of Bullhead City, and the Laughlin Tourism Commission (LTC) have announced the Laughlin Bullhead Airshow (LBAS) will be returning to the blue skies over the Mojave Desert. The 2024 event promises to be a bigger, better airshow featuring historic military and civilian aircraft, aerial demonstrations, and more.   The airshow will take flight Saturday, April 6, 2024, and will be free to attend. Kingman Cancer Care Unit receives much needed support from Kingman family businesses

Members of the Kingman Cancer Care Unit (KCCU) pose briefly under the ‘Hoe Arm” of the Bobcat brand track hoe available for rent at Merten’s Bobcat & Heavy Equipment Rentals on Andy Devine Ave., (East Route 66) in Kingman. “Every time this machine is rented we donate a portion of its income to the Kingman Cancer Care Unit,” says Lori (Merten) Sales Manger of Merten’s Bobcat of Kingman. “We’ve added the pink decals and a little verbiage on the back of the machine pledging our support for KCCU of Kingman; we are longtime supporters of the fight against cancer,” Lori added. Another way to support the KCCU of Kingman is by getting your car washed during the Mangelsdorf  Family Dentistry Annual Charity Car Wash. This year Linda Mangelsdorf and the entire staff of Mangelsdorf Family Dentistry teamed up with the  folks at the Airway Carwash donating the water, the soap and even quarters to vaccumn the inside. Longtime volunteer Diana Kenney (volunteering since 2002) sits in the operating seat as considers her  next gardening project! Perhaps the most tenured volunteer is Doris Bower, volunteering since 1975.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Moose International was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 1888 by then politician Dr. John Henry Wilson.  The original purpose was a men-only social club.   Over time, organizations began to form in Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Crawfordsville. The early order did not really take off. Disappointed, Dr. Wilson abandoned the order prior to the turn of the century.  It was around the 1890s when editor Albert C. Stevens was putting together his Encyclopedia of Fraternities that was able to confirm the existence of the club. Throughout the years, their fraternal group prevailed and added charitable services to communities.   Currently, Moose International has…
