Youth Exchange Chair speaks at Rotary

Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s September 8 meeting was Machel Considine, Rotary District 5495 Youth Exchange InBound Chair. The Rotary In-Bound Youth Exchange Program has been active since 1975. Each year students, ages 15 to18.5  come to the United States from another country and live with Rotary host families while going to school. KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Shawn Meisner on October 2 at their general meeting which is open to the public.  Meisner is running for Mohave County Board of Supervisors District 1.  KRW’s second speaker on October 2 will be SueAnn Mello, Treasurer Mohave County, who will be describing how to navigate the Tax Lien Sales of delinquent properties.  Her presentation will cover tax law, tax lien auction process, how to find available homes, how to bid, and foreclosure facts. Upcoming pavement preservation project lane restrictions

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Starting Monday, September 18, 2023 and continuing through the month of October, the City of Kingman will be conducting pavement preservation projects throughout the city. These projects will include chip seal in residential district 1, as well as milling, grading, and paving in the areas listed below. Work is expected to be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
