Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s September 8 meeting was Machel Considine, Rotary District 5495 Youth Exchange InBound Chair. The Rotary In-Bound Youth Exchange Program has been active since 1975. Each year students, ages 15 to18.5  come to the United States from another country and live with Rotary host families while going to school. KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Shawn Meisner on October 2 at their general meeting which is open to the public.  Meisner is running for Mohave County Board of Supervisors District 1.  KRW’s second speaker on October 2 will be SueAnn Mello, Treasurer Mohave County, who will be describing how to navigate the Tax Lien Sales of delinquent properties.  Her presentation will cover tax law, tax lien auction process, how to find available homes, how to bid, and foreclosure facts. KRW meet on the first Monday of each month. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.  and the meeting begins…

KINGMAN – For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue & Sanctuary will be observing National Adoption Weekend this Saturday, Sept. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. at Kingman Tractor Supply. Luv of Paws will have dogs and puppies looking for their forever home. All of the animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinate.
