Master Gardener training class accepting applications

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A 13-week Master Gardener training course will be held Thursdays from Jan. 18, 2024 through April 18, 2024. The classes will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  at Mohave Community College, 1977 Acoma Blvd W. This course provides research-based horticulture information you can use as a Master Gardener volunteer or to become a more successful gardener in your own backyard! BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Fire Department recently implemented a Fire Safety coloring contest with our local school district. All fifth and sixth grade students from the Bullhead Middle School and Mohave Accelerated Learning Center (MALC) were encouraged to design a safety picture and message. Some public lands closed Dec. 9, 10 near Laughlin

LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Field Office announces the temporary closure of certain public lands under its administration Dec. 9-10, 2023. The closure will minimize the risk of potential collisions between racers and spectators during the 2023 SNORE Laughlin Rage at the River OHV Race.
