Liberty Quartet to perform Jan. 26

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Everyone’s spirits will be uplifted at the Liberty Quartet’s concert this week. Formed in 1995, Liberty Quartet was founded by a local church in Boise, Idaho. It started out with choir director Royce Mitchell and three other choir members. By 1997, the quartet had a full time traveling tour. Today, the band continues to spread their faith and worship to audiences through music.  Each year, the band’s touring performances take place at prisons, churches, and nursing homes.  Eventually, Liberty Quartet broadened their concerts to Gospel Music Fan Festival in Canada, the Southwest Music Festival, and the Great Western Fan Festival. Lake…

Gun & Knife show Feb. 3, 4

KINGMAN – Pioneer County Events will host a Gun & Knife, Coins & Collectibles Show on Saturday and Sunday, February 3 and 4, at the College Park Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Ave. Admission is $7 per day or $12 for a two-day pass. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Legendz Sports Bar was filled with contagious tears through laughter at the Jokes Gone Wild show. Jokes Gone Wild was brought to Lake Havasu by comedy producer Adam Orta. Orta has been producing shows since 2019. If you attended Latinpalooza in 2021 or Adam’s Kokomo Komedy Tour, Orta was the eyes and ears behind those shows.   Inspiration to create comedy shows came from Orta’s uncle Joey Medina. Man injured in mobile home fire

KINGMAM – An adult male was burned in a fire that ripped through a mobile home in north Kingman Thursday, Jan. 19.  Northern Arizona Fire District (NAFD) crews responded at about 8:00 p.m. to the incident in the 3000 block of Ames Ave. “First responding units were met with a heavily involved mobile home, which posed a risk to nearby structures,” said NAFD Public Information Officer Daniel Jewell. “Fire personnel acted swiftly and effectively, successfully containing and extinguishing the fire before it could spread to adjacent exposures.” NAFD said the victim who sustained minor burn injuries was transported to Kingman…
