Dear Editor,
I understand that President Trump is going to sign into place the new usage percentages for the water from the Colorado River. Apparently, Arizona will be getting 31% less than we are currently getting.
We are already in dire need of more water, not less. Could someone please explain to me, if this is the case, why are we building more homes?
Why are we allowing more commercial farms (I am not talking private small farms)?
Why, if the production is that Kingman will have 75,000 more people here in the next five years, are we building more homes and businesses when we know we will not have near enough water to sustain our current citizens?
Why is our mayor and city council allowing all these homes to be built?
I would like an answer from them, in writing, front page in the paper, in detail. Wouldn’t you?
